Despite the controversy about its origin, the official story that the dulce de leche was born in Argentina a July 17, 1829. Here is the story of one of the more traditional sweet Argentina. Tasted and added to the diet of the descendants of Volga Germans from the very origins of the colonies, became, along with the mate, a symbol of the unity of the two cultures facts lead us to Cañuelas 1829 in the province of Buenos Aires, during a meeting between General Lavalle and Juan Manuel de Rosas. Both were signed on June 24 Cañuelas Treaty to end the hostilities and call elections for the Board of Representatives. On July 17, Lavalle Rosas came to camp very tired of riding and asked him to address outstanding issues.
